Last day the County will operate the transfer station is April 20th, 2013.  Stickers will be accepted for a limited time after the 20th, DO NOT place them on the trash bags.  Stickers must be handed to the attendant.

The 4^th Annual Rail Trail to the Footbridge 5K Run  will take place on National Trails Day, June 1^st.  Participant should gather at the Slate Valley Museum, 17 Water Street.  School-age children are welcome to stay at the Museum during the race for fun activities!

All Dogs & Cats should be vaccinated against rabies at 3 months of age and re-vaccinated one year later, then every three years thereafter.  Ferrets should be vaccinated against rabies at 3 months of age and re-vaccinated yearly thereafter.  Please bring proof of any previous rabies vaccination.  Vaccines are administrated in accordance with the National Association of State Public Health Veterinarians.  

The Village Planning Board will hold its regular monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 29th, 2013 at 7:30pm at the Village Municipal Center, 51 Quaker Street. 

The Village Zoning Board of Appeals (ZBA) will hold their monthly on Monday, June17th 2013 at 7:00 pm at the Village Municipal Center.

This month’s regular Village Board meeting will be held on Wednesday May 29th, 2013 at 6:00 pm.
